Frequently asked questions

How do I set the new order?

Type the page numbers in the order you want them, like 3, 1, 2, 4. The PDF is rebuilt in exactly that sequence.

Can I drop pages while reordering?

Yes. Any page you leave out of the list is removed from the result, so you can reorder and delete in one step.

Can I repeat a page?

Yes. If you list a page number more than once, it appears multiple times in the output.

Does reordering reduce quality?

No. Pages are moved exactly as they are, losslessly, with text and graphics intact.

Can I reorganize a protected PDF?

No. Unlock it first, as encrypted pages cannot be read.

About the Organize PDF Pages tool

This tool rearranges the pages of a PDF into a new order that you define. It is useful when pages were scanned out of sequence, when a document needs sections moved around, or when you want to pull pages into a particular arrangement without using separate split and merge steps.

How it works

You provide the page numbers in the order you want them — for example 3, 1, 2, 4 puts the third page first, then the first, then the second, then the fourth. The tool rebuilds the PDF following that exact sequence, copying each page losslessly so text and graphics are untouched. Because you are describing the whole output order, the tool is flexible: any page you leave out of your list is dropped, and any page you list more than once is duplicated, so reordering, removing, and repeating pages all happen in one operation.

When to use it

Reach for Organize when the sequence is wrong or needs changing — a scanner fed pages in the wrong order, or a report needs its sections rearranged. It combines several edits: if you only need to remove pages, Delete Pages is simpler; if you only need to join finished files, Merge PDF is the tool; but when the goal is a specific custom arrangement of the existing pages, Organize does it in a single pass.

Tips

Ranges are allowed, so 1-3, 5 is a quick way to write a longer sequence. List every page you want to keep, in order — anything not listed will not appear in the result. Double-check the list before processing, since the output follows it precisely.

Privacy and limits

PDFs up to 50 MB are accepted, and password-protected files must be unlocked first. Your file is uploaded securely, rebuilt on the server, and offered for download, then deleted within an hour. To simply remove pages, use Delete Pages; to combine multiple PDFs, use Merge PDF.
