WB TET 2026
Whether a West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test has been notified for 2026, what the Board has actually published, and what is still not decided.
The short answer
No general WB TET has been notified for 2026 that we can show you a Board notice for. The most recent general Primary TET on record here is TET-2023, held on 24 Dec 2023.
If you have read a specific date for a WB TET 2026 somewhere else, check whether that page links to a notice on the Board's own site. Several sites publish a date and no source. A date without a notification behind it is somebody's guess, however confidently it is written, and acting on one costs you a month of preparing for the wrong week.

What the Board has actually published
Every item here was read from the Board's own notice page, with the date that page prints against it. Nothing is listed on the strength of a news report.

What does not change while you wait
The syllabus and the paper pattern are set by the Board and have been stable across cycles. Waiting for a notification is not a reason to wait to start — the people who do well in a TET year began before it was announced.
